Patent addresses fundamental principles for threaded static timing analysis
Littleton, MA September 15, 2010 — CLK Design Automation Inc today announced that it has been awarded U. S. Patent 7,793,243 for Multi-Engine Static Analysis. The patent covers CLK Design Automation’s core technology for threaded and distributed static timing analysis.

CLK Design Automation uses these methods throughout Amber, an integrated suite of static analysis tools for high-performance, cell-based designs. Amber Path FX leverages this patented technology to deliver accurate, fast, and practical solutions for high accuracy timing of nanometer designs. Amber Path FX uses transistor level statistical static timing analysis (TSSTA) to achieve near SPICE accuracy for both delay and variance. With its multi-threaded simulator, Amber Path FX can evaluate thousands of paths per processor per hour (vs. days per path in SPICE).
